Suggested 3-day plan from Shimla
Day 1: Drive to Vrindavan. Evening at Prem Mandir when it is lit up.
Day 2: Banke Bihari, ISKCON and Radha Raman temples in Vrindavan; Krishna Janmabhoomi and Dwarkadhish in Mathura; evening aarti at Vishram Ghat.
Day 3: Govardhan parikrama by vehicle and Barsana, then start back, or stay a fourth day and add Gokul, Nandgaon or Agra.

- Janmashtami and Holi bring huge crowds and road closures in Vrindavan and Barsana. Book well ahead.
