Where we pick up in Shimla
We live in Shimla, so we know which roads a 12 seater can use and where it can wait. Common pickup points:
- Shimla ISBT, Tutikandi
- Shimla railway station, for Kalka–Shimla toy train arrivals
- Shimla airport at Jubbarhatti, about 22 km from town
- Hotels on Cart Road, Lakkar Bazaar and Sanjauli, and further out in Kufri, Mashobra, Chharabra and Shoghi
Vehicles are not allowed on the Mall Road or the Ridge. We drop you at the nearest point, usually the Cart Road lift, and wait at a parking spot until you call.

Why groups choose the Urbania in Shimla
Shimla's roads are narrow, steep and full of hairpin bends. The Urbania is built on a monocoque body, so it rides more like a large car than a truck-based van, and passengers feel far fewer jolts on the bends. Every seat reclines and has an armrest, every passenger gets an AC vent and a charging point, and the large windows show the valley the whole way.
The vehicle is driven by its owner, not a rotating pool of drivers. He knows how to time a trip around Shimla's peak-hour jams and where a long vehicle can park.
Good for
- Wedding guest transfers between hotels, the venue and the station
- Office offsites and team outings to Kufri, Naldehra or Chail
- Family holidays with grandparents who need a comfortable seat
- Airport and railway transfers with lots of luggage
