This is a long day, so we start before dawn. The route skirts Delhi entirely: down to Chandigarh and Ambala, south on the Grand Trunk Road to the KMP Expressway, then onto NH48 through Haryana to Jaipur. Most families prefer to split it with a night in Delhi NCR or near Behror, which turns two very long days into one easy one and one short one.
For desert-and-mountains holidays, families often fly into Jaipur or Delhi and drive up to Shimla, or do it the other way. With the Urbania’s reclining seats the long expressway hours pass easily. Tell us if you want a stop at Kurukshetra or a meal at the Murthal dhabas.

Arriving in Jaipur
Drops at your hotel in the old city, Jaipur Junction station or the airport. Worth your time in Jaipur: Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal, City Palace and Nahargarh Fort.
